running group

Oh ya I might join this local running group that trains for a 15k river run. I am going to start a 10 week half marathon training program so if it doesn't mess it up too bad I will do that too. Wahoooooo!!!!!!!!!

Turkey Trot

So I did it! Ran my first 5k in Orlando on Thanksgiving! It was a blast! I had to wake up at 2:50 am to get ready and be there on time. Can you believe there was no Turkey Trot here??? So I ws really tired. Anyway I ate a light breakfast but I was so worried about being hydrated I drank waaaaaay too much!!!!!!! At first there was not that many people there but closer to start time thousands showed up. Some 5000 people! Crap! I run at night by myself so for me this was CRAZY! It took me a good min to just get through to the start line, then a few more to break away from everyone! People step on ya, push ya outta the way! I ran on the street, sidewalks, even in the ditch!!!!! Then you have people who you are running behind and they just stop! I started out great, but then a mile into it I had to pee so bad!!!! Ya'all know I have had 4 babies and have NEVER had the strongest bladder!!!! Sorry TMI? Oh well it's the truth! So the faster I ran I thought I couldn't hold it, so I didn't run as fast as I wanted to but my time was still ok. I have built up to 8 miles so this 3.1 was not bad, just wish I could have done it a little faster. Next time I am not going to drink as much!!!!! LOL........

So I am going to do a Run Reindeer 5k in a couple weeks and then on New Years Eve the Gator Bowl 5k. Building up for the half marathon in March then a full marathon in Oct.........we'll see. I never thought I would get back into running like this! Even when I was in the Army, I hated to run!!!!!!!!!!! It has been nice though! I am still going to the gym like crazy and going to all their classes so it's keeping me going and not getting bored! Zumba tonight and strength training.

We had a great Thanksgiving too. Mom got here on Thur. and we had a nice dinner on Friday. We went downtown to eat, Christmas craft fair, Lighted boat parade and fireworks! It was nice. Now back to life! Have a great week everyone!

Ok................ All I can say is where is my Edward and Jacob????(HUBBA HUBBA) This was a great movie!!!! Ali and I had a great time! The ending is CRAZY!!!!!!!!!! Leaves you wanting the next one RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!! LOVED IT!!!!!!! Go see it. We got some free posters and pens too! Great night with my daughter. She loved the movie too. Ok off to run like a crazy woman all day so I can take my son to his concert!!!!! "For those about to rock................................... :-)"

New Moon tonight :-)

So I was caller 95 this past weekend (local radio station) and won tickets to a special showing in Jacksonville of New Moon........ tonight!!!!!! Whoop Whoop! Works out well cause tomorrow is the AC/DC concert!!!!!! Only thing is I am missing all my gym classes tonight and tomorrow! Oh well I have been working my tushy of!!!! I ran 6 miles Sat. night. Thanksgiving I am going to run my first 5k. I am also setting my sights on The Disney Princess Half Marathon in March! Been going to Zumba classes at the Gym..........who ever said this girl couldn't dance????? I love it!!! I have lost so much weight it's crazy!!!!! But It has not come easy and that was not my goal! I just wanted to get into shape again and be healthy. I am feeling pretty good but still have a ways to go. If I keep up my running I think I'll be good. It is cooler here at night and I have been trying to run every day or every other day plus doing the gym everyday. Somethings I go to 2 classes a night! Anyway just been busy with that. Spending time with the family too. Last weekend we went and tried out for Wheel of Fortune! How fun it was!!!! This weekend maybe we'll go to a Jags game????? Hmmmmm........... Maybe.........Shuttle went up again! Saw that. So Hopefully I'll get a few pics at the concert :-) I promise not to tell about New Moon till the weekend when ya'all see it :-) Ok well.....Have a great Week!!!!!!

Overdone it!!!!

I think I have overdone it! Yesterday I spent 2 hours weight training in the AM. Then last night I went to Bosu class and a 1.5 hour Yoga class!!!!! I am beat!!!!!! And Tuesday night I did my fastest ever 3 mile run! Tonight is Bodysculpt class. I was sore for 4 days after that class last week!!!! I went out to run this am but it was already too hot and muggy so I'll run tonight. I'm going for a slow 4 mile! Wish me luck!!!! Maybe pray for me!!!! Hahahaha!!!

piggie names

So I forgot to mention the new piggies names. The tri-colored brown one was born to Ellie and Mr. Fredrickson (From the movie Up) so she is Kevin. If you remember in the movie Kevin the bird was suppose to be a boy but then they find out Kevin is a girl! lol........so she is Kevin and her brother the brownish grey one we named Dug (the funny dog from Up) We had to keep all movie names! We do have a boy named Russel too. We loved that movie!!! The two little grey ones were born to Nicolas's piggie named Smores. She is mostly browns and white. Like a smore. Mr. Fredrickson is all white and grey so they look just like him. We named them Marsh-mellow and Graham, as in graham cracker..........lol.....get it? The parts of a smore??? :-) Anyway that's all their names! They are getting bigger and fluffier!!!! They are all 4 funky haired! I just love em to pieces!!!

It's been awhile! :-)

It has been awhile. I'm here though. Going to the gym, running and helping at the school! We finally got all the Birthdays out of the way and had 4 new piggie babies! Ok no more!!!! I will not even tell you how many we have! It's nuts. Boo Boo will not let me sell them to our little local pet shop. He can't part with any of them. He thinks they are all too cute :-) lol......... Birthday's, Halloween, Universal Studios again and lots of gym classes! Been Busy!!!! I am off Facebook again and that is a LOOOOOONG story I won't get into. So sick of the drama...........Anyway a few pics of what I've been up to.
