National Lampoons vacation!!!!!!!!

Ok We are finally back. We were suppose to come home Friday, but I was sick as a dog and could not drive home. Even though I'm still sick we had to come home cause Steve works today. Driving there it poured the whole way! Thank God we took 2 cars and I just followed Steve's taillights the whole way. Once we got in the mountains that was it....all the kids started puking! I should have known then! Of course I had all the sick kids in the van with me. Go figure? So we finally get there and Ali and Nicolas are really sick. And Grandpa (my Dad) is also coming down with something. GREAT! So my kids just laid around and threw up and were so sick. We made 2 trips to the urgent care cause the fevers were spiking to around 104. Grandpa actually had to go to the ER and stay the a couple days in the Hospital! We did have a nice visit with my aunt and we were all together! Christmas was nice. The kids played all day and we ate a nice huge meal. Mom and I hit the after Christmas deals at our favorite stores. Now coming home was pure Hell. Poured again and nothing but traffic. I was so sick I just wanted to get home! What should have taken 9 hours took 12....and we only stopped twice!!!!! Normally we stop 4 or 5 times. We are home and I'm still sick....today it's the puking stage. Thank goodness that wasn't yesterday! So I am going to pray the kids are good and let me lay on the couch and try to get some rest!

I hope everyone else had a great Christmas! Don't get me wrong ours was good. I just wish we weren't all sick! But we were together.
