A LO and a snake!

So here is just a little LO I did about my first house I lived in that I still call home. The journalling is actually 2 pages. I spent all day yesterday writing about the house and all my memories there. It was like 16 some pages so I couldn't fit it all in. I'll just put the other pages I wrote in the album behind this page or if I get some old pics from mom of me in the house I can use more of it. I just cried all day yesterday writing this! So many memories. All good ones. I do not have one bad memory of this part of my life. It was my favorite place in the world. Not to mention it was before we all moved all over the U.S. and we all spent every holiday together and we could see our cousins and family when ever we wanted to! Oh well.....life moves forward. It's fun to look back and remember the good times though!
Now on to the snake! So this time there was a snake sitting right next to me and I didn't know it! Ugh!!!!!!!! So my wonderful gaurd dog Princess starts barking at it and I turn my head and look and there it is just curled up moving his head all around. Now he was only about 4 foot and very calm, not like that 7 footer we had a couple years ago. That thing went up and started snapping at us. This one was just sitting there. My DH was working from home that day cause the Air guy was comming to fix the air.(That's another story) anyway he came out and beat it over the head and threw it over the fence. Now we wouldn't have killed it but like I said that snake a couple years ago was CRAZY, so he didn't want to take any chances. We leave our porch door open for the dog, otherwise I would shut the door and they'd stay out. At least it wasn't an alligator! Ha!

Our air had a leak in the freon, our house is 5 years old. So guess what? The warranty expired 17 days ago!!!!!! So $1000 later it's fixed! What luck huh? Anyway, It was 105 here on Monday so you have to have air.

Been swimming a little (lots of rain here) and playing Rock Band for the Wii. Isabelle and Boo are great at it! They crack me up! I just love watching them play it!

Oh I took Nicolas for his pre-k and 4yr. old check-up. He did so good. They gave hime 4 shots. 1 at a time! All my other kiddos had 2 nurses giving 2 at a time. But this lady was good and quick. By the time he realized what was going on, she was done. Now he did cry, and fuss a little but not loads of drama like my other kids. So now it's off to school for a few hours a day. Not much summer left!


I got this great new paper from Webster's pages. It is very vintage and pretty. I am going to do some pages of my Grandma. I am also working on a page about Steve and I. It has these cute people on it. Hope it turns out.
