Not feeling well.....

Well 9 times out of 10 I'm a happy upbeat person. Even when things are bad I always try to make the best of what god gives me. I'm just not feeling well today. I have not been sick in a long time, but usually it is after I have traveled alot. Well I had a fever all day yesterday and now today also. I'm so tired that I slept through my alarm.........ok never in my life have I done that! I have not been this tired in a long time! It does not help that it's raining again here. Rain rain rain!!!!!! Anyway I still am smiling, but just so tired.


I did take Isabelle to the doc today for a school physical. She got one shot. She never cries (she's my strong one) but, she cried after cause she jerked her arm and they had to do it over. She still did well I'm so proud of her. My other two older kids have to have 50 people hold them down! Anyway, when I walked in I had all four kids with me. I don't normally do that just out of respect for others, but today I had nobody to watch the other three. So when we walked in you could see the nurses rolling their eyes and thinking OMGoodness here we go! This is a Family Practice office where Isabelle is seen .........not many kids. My other kids go to the Peds office. She never gets sick so this is where we choose to do her basic stuff. Anyway my kids are very very very active and touch everything and always ask questions....ect.......BUT...........they know when to be good. Well we're still working on the 3 yr. old! Anyway, When I left that office I had 3 people tell me what a wonderful mother I must be because my kids were so well behaved!!!! The doc told me at least 3 times! I just was so happy to hear this cause my kids are so loud and happy and active and very social people.........but I have worked so hard on teaching them that there is a time and a place to do certain things! Anyway I was very pleased with them and they made me proud!Sometimes when they are at home driving you crazy you forget that they really are good kids!!!!!!

There was a book in the docs office that said childrens Bible stories. So we picked it up and Nicolas was reading it and all of a sudden says, " Oh my goodness Mommy these people are naked! That women is about to show her boobies!" I almost died it was so funny. We have Bible story books, but this one was very different! They showed a bit too much skin for me to explain in a doc's office! It was cute..... Ali had to explain to him that that was how we were born and went on about Adam and Eve............It was funny. Thank goodness they called us back right after that!!!!!!

Anyway I want to scrap so bad, but I'm just so tired and my fever is getting worse I think. I will probably go take something for it and watch tv with the kids. Hope everyone has a nice day!

Oh and my heart goes out to all that are involved with the bridge that collapsed in Minn. I watched it on the news last night and just felt sick about it. I am praying that they find all who is missing and they are all alive!
